Chair I is made from the deconstructed materials of a found painted dresser. Reversing the original dresser inside out, and maintaining all the marks of usage, Chair I is a tale of the unknown craftsman, the life of an old object, and a time capsule transformed into a cabinet of curiosities. 

This piece is part of my ongoing series, Lost Stories, featuring a deconstructive reimagination of antique furniture and passing on the stories of objects that have been lost in time.
