According to Merram-Webster, “Twilight” is “The light from the sky between full night and sunrise or between sunset and full night. produced by diffusion of sunlight through the atmosphere and its dust.” Metaphorically, twilight usually references to the fragility in the darkness after night falls, and the hope lightened by the first ray of sunshine.               

 

Composed of three sheets of 3/8 inch thick bending plywood with a 1/2 inch thick plywood seat, Twilight chair intends to sensually create the ephemeral experience of twilight through human’s intimacy with sitting.
